Sunday morning (July 9, 2017) I once again found anonymous flyers posted attacking myself. This is the work of James Gillis. The flyer with the story of a police raid comes from a web posting by journalist John Semley whom it appears has been and is giving Gillis his support. James Gillis is the author of the many complaints to Metro Licensing And Standards about Reg Hartt. For nearly twenty years he has been using street posters in an attempt to bring harm to others including past employees, former City of Toronto Mayor Rob Ford, former City of Toronto Councilor/current MP Adam Vaughan and Reg Hartt. John Semley wrote this piece:

THE GLOBE AND MAIL gets it right:

The founder of a landmark alternative theatre in downtown Toronto is refusing to back down in the face of a poster-bullying campaign that seems designed to bring violence upon him and his associates.

Reg Hartt, who runs the Cineforum out of his Bathurst Street home, had decided earlier this week that it was too risky to stay open. Patrons keen to see Salò on Tuesday night were sent home disappointed and he said he planned to lie low for a while and then start angling for a new venue.

But by Friday he was determined to stand firm. He will screen a Jane Jacobs picture and a psychiatric hospital documentary tonight and is “rebooting” his film schedule. Among the movies he plans to show is the gay pornographic classic Boys in the Sand – the very picture an anonymous detractor cited on a downtown poster that was part of an attempt to smear Mr. Hartt.

“If he can do it to me he can do it to anyone,” he said during an interview in a tiny screening room decorated with old movie posters and paraphernalia.

“The only way I can deal with this is stand up and say, ‘here I am.’ If someone wants to let their emotions run rampant, if something happens, I’ll deal with it.”

Daniel Goggin on working for Dr. Jamie and being smeared by him with street posters.

From Google Reviews for Dr. Jamie’s Bike Clinic. That location is now closed. Gillis offers his bikes for sale now out of garages in back alley lane ways.

Journalist John Semley has been and continues to be giving his support to James Gillis (aka Dr. Jamie).

This is on Pinterest. It states “Uploaded by User.” User is anonymous. Daniel has been told there is an open contract offering $500 to whomever kills him. This was one of hundreds of posters put up around Toronto by James Gillis. At the time Daniel lived with me. Our address is on the flyer. John Semley supports James Gillis. Semley may be the anonymous user who posted this on Pinterest. THE METRO NEWS described this as a feud between myself and Gillis. It is not. It is one man obviously nor in his right mind seeking to do harm to many others.

These posters appeared on Queen Street West in Toronto this weekend. James Gillis (aka Dr. Jamie) strikes again.
