“Film students should stay as far away as possible from film schools and film teachers. The only school for the cinema is the cinema. The best cinema is the Paris Cinémathèque. The best teacher is Henri Langlois.”—Bernardo Bertolucci.

I created THE CINEFORUM as a school for those with the wit to use it as such. I modeled it on the original  Cinémathèque Française. It like The Cineforum was in an old run down house in Paris. Now and then someone comes along smart enough                                       to take advantage of what is offered here.

Then it becomes exciting around here.–Reg Hartt
