Compassionate chicken keeps scared kittens safe and warm during a storm

My first Dog, Lady, had a litter that kept me awake at night crying. I cleaned out a dresser drawer, put a couple of old blankets in it and the pups leaving it open just enough that they could breathe. For them it was being back inside mama. They slept soundly. I slept soundly. By the time they out grew it their confidence had grown.

This reminds me of that.

Perhaps newly born infants and their parents would sleep sounder if the baby was placed in a womb like environment.

Mine did.
