When Quanah Parker returned from his vision quest he said, “I have seen the way through the maze of the Whiteman’s lies.”
He went on to build up his people from weakness to strength.
It is not that Whitemen lie but rather that the American government, as we are now experiencing, has always been prey to people who see no honour in honouring the word of previous governments.
It is a mistake to think that the people indigenous to this land were not civilized. They were. They are.
