A friend, who is one of the foremost authorities in the world on silent and early sound motion pictures, asked me to create a score for the 1925 version of Victor Hugo’s LES MISERABLES. He said, “The music that was added to this picture fails miserably. Can you try it?” I said, “Sure.”

Then I found out this picture originally ran six hours.

New York audiences paid Legit Theatre prices which today are at Toronto’s The Royal Alexandra $100 a seat.

I thought, “2025 has been such a miserable year why not cap it with something truly magnificent. Why not trump it?”

To trump means to do something wonderful (which the man bearing that name has never done).

I know it is a lot to ask people to pay Broadway prices when many of us (myself included) are tightening our belts however the only way to experience this picture as New York did is to sit down to watch it with the expectations they had.

I had never seen this picture until I began working on it.

Wow! I did not expect it to be this good. See for yourself. Reserve now. Bring a bottle of Champagne. Bring your own snacks. End 2025 with something magnificent. Start 2026 with something wonderful. Seating limited to 12. Book now. Brit painter Peter Moore said my CineForum is the most perfect place on earth in which to see a movie.

Don’t take my word for this. Read these flyers.

Not in Toronto? Get in touch. We should bring LES MISERABLES to your city or town.
