In the short time he has been in office he has bankrupted relations between America and Canada, Greenland, Denmark, Europe, and….This is not going to end well. Canada has a land mass that can contain America and a population smaller than that of California. We are in a sense like Jack who found himself trapped in the castle of a giant who wanted to devour him as Trump wants to devour us. Like Jack we will emerge with the giant’s treasures. Like the giant Trump will stumble to an inglorious finish. It is going to be scary and tough but we will make it.As a kid in New Brunswick I was told, “Go to Ontario to succeed.” My father moved us to Ontario when I was in grade11. In Ontario I was told, “Go tom The United States to succeed.” I realized that when a country or a part of a country tells its young to leave to find success it is committing suicide as the young are the future. I decided to stay in Canada. For decades I’ve been standing up to bullies in this city. Now we have a really big bully to stand up to.
