was a renowned cinematographer who became a director. RKO’s first 3D feature was put in more than able hands. Seeing his name attached to SECOND CHANCE (1953) made me wish all the more that I could see it in 3D. A friend sent me a digital 3D copy of the film several years ago. Wow! Jack Palance is one of the screen’s great bad guys. A film is only as good as its villain. This villain is terrific.
