Today I got a phone call from a young person asking me to support Olivia Chow.

I asked him to google my name, Reg Hartt, Oliver Moore and The Globe and Mail.

I then asked him to google my name, The Toronto Sun and my name plus the Toronto Star.

I said, “When these attacks began Mayor Miller’s office acted to stop them. Olivia Chow’s office was silent. When they began again Councillor Adam Vaughn’s office and Mayor Rob Ford’s office acted to stop them. Olivia Chow’s office was silent. I said, Do not assume I do not support Mayor Chow. I said, “I will give you time to examine the record however I do want to hear back from you. Do not assume I do not support Mayor Chow.”

A street person told me he had been offered $1,000 to kill me. He said, “If I have been offered this others have.”
The people who run TIFF are aware of this.
They chose not to stand with me.
