I had a wonderful 19 year old Moldavian man here last night for a scheduled talk.
I am recovering from a cold or the flu (got my flu shot).
I should not have said a word but we spoke until 9pm.
He had never seen DRACULA with Bela Lugosi. I let him wear my authorized Bela Lugosi DRACULA cape while watching the film.
Afterwards he spoke about the film’s beauty and power.
Around midnight he left.
It was a wonderful night and well worth it.
He was only in Toronto for one day.
He had looked for something interesting to do and had decided this was the place to come to.

This undated photo provided by Heritage Auctions shows a rare poster for the 1931 horror film “Dracula” that has sold for $525,800. Dallas-based Heritage Auctions said the sale Saturday, Nov. 18, 2017, appears be the highest amount a movie poster has garnered at auction. Heritage says the poster, which features the image of actor Bela Lugosi as Dracula, is one of only two known surviving of that particular version. (Photo Courtesy Heritage Auctions via AP)
« Henry Cavill: Superman no more. Well, if you read the New Testament in its original text, you would come away stunned, really, by how different the original text is from any English version. »
