For years I had a handful of George Pal Puppetoons in 16mm. They were beautiful. They were fun to watch. I wanted to see more but more usually meant prints with faded color.

That changed thanks to Arnold Leibovit.

Leibovit has been on a one man mission to restore George Pal’s lost Puppetoons.

Now he has restored his original feature.

I got my copy today.

I watched it projected on a BIG screen the way movies are meant to be seen.

They have a clarity that makes them pop out of the screen.
